Madalynn's First Date!!

Madalynn and Matt went to their first "Daddy-Daughter Dance!" Madalynn LOVED getting all 'fancied-up.' We curled her hair (it was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS), put on "blush & lipstick," and nailpolish, but I think her favorite thing was the noise her heels made. They had a great time and can't wait to go again next year.

Not a baby anymore

Lilly had a great first birthday. There were too many great pictures to pick from! We HAD to include pictures of Lilly and "her bow!" How could we not, it was such a hit.

Lilly was so proud of herself emptying out her drawers. From her facial expression, you can tell she doesn't quite have the ability to tell when she's in TROUBLE, although mommy couldn't help laughing too. She was just so proud!

Many takes and this is the best we can get! It never fails: if one child is looking toward the camera, the other is looking away. They sure don't make it easy!

Lilly woke up from her nap shortly before Santa arrived, and as you can see, she wasn't too interested in sitting on Santa's lap. Maddie however couldn't wait!
